About the job Landscape Coordinator / Softscape & Irrigation Engineer Role Summary Responsible for overall coordination, supervision, technical compliance, and decision-making for softscape and irrigation works across multiple sites. Softscape Responsibilities Review and interpret approved drawings, specifications, and as-built documents for softscape works. Supervise all planting, turfing, soil preparation, fertilization, and conditioning activities to ensure compliance with project requirements. Verify plant quality, size, health condition, and suitability prior to installation. Coordinate with nurseries and suppliers for plant selection, delivery, replacement, and approvals. Monitor planting works to ensure correct spacing, alignment, levels, and aesthetic quality. Identify plant diseases, pest infestations, and nutrient deficiencies; propose and implement corrective actions. Supervise routine and corrective maintenance activities, including pruning, fertilization, and plant replacement. Ensure softscape works comply with environmental and sustainability standards. Irrigation Responsibilities Supervise installation of irrigation systems including pipelines, valves sprinklers, drip systems, pumps, controllers, and valve chambers. Review irrigation shop drawings and ensure proper execution as per approved designs. Inspect and verify calibration, alignment, pressure, and coverage of irrigation systems. Conduct testing, flushing, and commissioning of irrigation networks. Monitor system efficiency and implement water-saving and sustainability measures. Diagnose and resolve irrigation issues such as leaks, blockages, pressure loss, or uneven distribution. Coordinate irrigation systems with electrical and civil works. Coordination & Management Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. Monitor progress against approved schedules and take corrective action as required. Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and technical documents. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Documentation Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Ensure proper documentation, including as-built drawings, testing records, PPM schedules, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
