Head Vertical Farm
Location: Lochristi, Belgium
Vervit is a company active in plant biotechnology and in-vitro propagation of plants. We develop new technologies and protocols for the micropropagation industry, to further use those in our production lab or in labs worldwide.
Our plants are born in the lab and continue their growth in our ‘state-of-the-art’ Vertical Farm, before making their journey to our customers.

Within our production site Vertical Farm we are looking for a Head Vertical Farm, to coordinate all activities and processes within this area. Someone always ready to put HANDS and MIND on the work to do.
Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinate and supervise all labours within our Vertical Farm
- Control the plant growing processes
- Team coordination and management
- Follow up all technics from the Vertical Farm
- Report results and findings
- Make things happen !!!
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Passion for plants and understanding their physiology/growth
- Technical and technology minded
- Strong team management skills
- High level of responsibility
- Autonomy in work and decision-making
- Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice to have
- Experience in similar jobs – with responsibility and team management
- Experience/knowledge in indoor farming
