Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a company providing a comprehensive range of architecture and agricultural products in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Farm Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day farm operations, ensuring effective management of livestock, fruits, and vegetables, while maintaining strong communication with corporate managers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily farm activities including livestock care, crop planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
- Monitor farm operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
- Send regular progress reports and updates to corporate managers, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Maintain basic records of farm activities, including livestock health, crop growth, and resource usage.
- Train and guide farm workers to improve skills, productivity, and adherence to farm practices.
- Ensure proper use of equipment, resources, and materials to maximize efficiency.
- Build rapport with managers and team members, maintaining a positive and cooperative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards across farm operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Agriculture, Animal Science, Horticulture, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience as a Farm Supervisor or in a similar role managing livestock, fruits, or vegetable cultivation.
- Strong understanding of farm operations, including animal husbandry and crop management.
- Ability to manage and motivate farm workers to achieve productivity goals.
- Good written communication skills with the ability to draft basic work-related emails and reports.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and long-term interest in growing with the company.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
