Job Title: Plant Pathologist – Nursery & Maintenance Site

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Plant Pathologist with a Master’s degree to manage plant health across nursery and landscape maintenance sites. The role focuses on diagnosing plant diseases, implementing effective treatment plans, and ensuring high plant quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and diagnose plant diseases, pests, and physiological disorders
- Develop and implement disease prevention and treatment strategies
- Monitor plant health, soil conditions, and irrigation practices
- Guide maintenance and nursery teams on correct disease management practices
- Implement integrated pest and disease management (IPM) programs
- Maintain records of disease outbreaks, treatments, and plant recovery
- Ensure safe and effective use of fungicides, pesticides, and bio-control methods
- Coordinate with agriculture engineers and landscape maintenance teams
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Plant Pathology (mandatory)
- Experience in nursery, landscaping, or maintenance sites preferred
- Strong knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies
- Familiarity with chemical and organic control methods
- Willingness to work on-site and conduct regular field inspections
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ornamental plants and landscape species
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly plant protection practices
- Good communication and reporting skills
