We are seeking a qualified Agriculture Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in landscaping, irrigation management. The Agricultural Engineer will oversee the maintenance of landscaping and softscape areas, ensuring high-quality standards The role requires planning, supervising, and executing maintenance operations efficiently, while ensuring safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, fertilization, watering, and pest control.
- Supervise and manage daily maintenance operations of softscape and landscaped areas
- Manage the team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely completion
- Inspect plants, trees, lawns, and irrigation systems; recommend corrective actions as needed
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, fertilization, watering, and pest control
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery
- Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for resources and materials
- Prepare daily/monthly reports on work progress, manpower, and resource utilization.
- Communicate effectively with workers, team leads, and management in English and Hindi
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in landscaping, softscape maintenance, or agricultural projects
- Strong knowledge of plants, trees, lawns, irrigation systems, and maintenance practices
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Proficient in preparing reports and maintaining documentation
- Ability to supervise and motivate a large team effectively
