Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Agronomy Specialist / Agricultural Engineer (Fertilizer Solutions) for an on-site position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role is focused on technical advisory and customer support in the field of plant nutrition and fertilizers. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and the sales team to recommend suitable crop nutrition programs and provide professional agronomic guidance.
This is not a farm management role — the position supports product application, technical consultations and business development in agricultural inputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance on fertilizer selection and crop nutrition programs
- Support clients with product usage recommendations and application schedules
- Collaborate with sales team on customer consultations
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and agronomic plans
- Analyze crop requirements and soil conditions
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients
- Monitor product performance and gather field feedback
- Stay updated on market trends and agricultural innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Soil Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in fertilizers, crop nutrition or agricultural inputs
- Strong understanding of NPK, micronutrients and plant nutrition principles
- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Experience in B2B agricultural sector is an advantage
- UAE market experience is a plus
- Good English (Russian is a plus)
