- Publications or reports on plant health, pest resistance, or control strategies
- Experience with molecular or serological diagnostics (e.g., PCR)
- Conducting pesticide efficacy or phytotoxicity trials
- Working with government quarantine or biosecurity agencies
- Training farmers or extension agents in pest management
- Developing pest risk assessments or early warning systems
- Contributions to regulatory dossiers for pesticide registration
- Recognition or awards from agricultural or plant health organizations
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Certification
- Pesticide Applicator License (local or international equivalent)
- Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Certification
- Biosafety or Quarantine Protocol Training
- Critical thinking and diagnostic skills
