Job Description:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop, manage, and track project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Supervise, motivate, and train landscape teams (groundskeepers, horticulturists, maintenance crews) to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, understanding their needs, providing updates, and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with landscape designers or architects to translate project vision into practical plans, ensuring scope is understood and implemented correctly.
- Source and manage the procurement of plants, materials, and equipment, considering client requirements and site conditions.
- Monitor project progress, review completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and implement necessary corrections or punch lists.
- Ensure all project work complies with safety regulations and local standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A university degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or a related field is often preferred
- Proven experience in landscape management, project management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plants, soil, irrigation, hardscaping, gardening techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- A team player with proven ability to work under Pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
