⭐️ Job Opportunity: Horticulture Assistant

👀 Looking for a versatile horticulture job in Birmingham? Come and join our team! We’re looking for a Horticulture Assistant that will support the team across the Gardens to deliver the restoration of the glasshouses as part of Growing Our Green Heritage transformational capital development project.

🌿 You’ll get to work in the glasshouses, outside in the grounds, and behind the scenes in the nurseries. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s seeking to experience multitudes of horticulture.

💚 This is a really exciting time to be part of a significant Birmingham landmark project, and contribute to the botanical heritage and future of the city, whilst gaining experience and knowledge.

This role is part of our ‘Growing Our Green Heritage’ project made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund Thanks to National Lottery players, we will be able to deliver a 4.5-year transformational project to restore the glasshouse estate to its former magnificence, improve key spaces and facilities, provide a suitable environment for the living collections, strengthen financial resilience and increase public understanding of plants, science and environmental issues.
