About the role
- Conduct periodic technical agricultural audits across farms and production facilities to ensure adherence to quality and environmental standards.
- Advise on crop management, soil health, irrigation efficiency, and pest/disease control using modern agricultural practices.
- Support development and implementation of sustainability initiatives such as water conservation and resource optimization.
- Analyse production data and recommend corrective actions to improve yield and profitability.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, seeds, fertilisers, and mechanisation opportunities.
- Provide continuous technical training and guidance to farm staff and operational teams.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, documentation, and action plans following inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi agriculture regulations and international best practices (e.g., GAP standards).
- Participate in developing annual agricultural plans, forecasting, and performance benchmarking.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in agricultural consultancy, farm management, or technical audits.
- Proven background in technical audit methodologies, quality systems implementation, and agribusiness development.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabia agricultural sector, especially crops prevalent in the Al Qassim region (e.g., dates, fruit trees, horticulture).
- Experience with agricultural technology, smart-farming, irrigation systems, and sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
