- JOB PURPOSE:
To oversees and manages field operations, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks and coordinating the activities of field teams. involves in supervising fieldwork, ensuring adherence to schedules, and maintaining quality standards.
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Core Accountabilities
- Supervise and lead field teams, providing guidance, direction, and support in daily tasks and project objectives.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
- Coordinate and oversee field activities, including planting, harvesting, soil preparation, irrigation, or crop maintenance.
- Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of work performed by field teams.
- Manage and allocate resources, including equipment, tools, and labor, to optimize efficiency in field operations.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and ensure tools are in working condition.
- Implement and maintain quality standards for fieldwork, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to evaluate the quality of work and address any deviations or issues.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for field teams.
- Provide safety training and promote adherence to safety guidelines.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, work progress, resources used, and any incidents or concerns.
- Prepare reports detailing field operations, progress, and any challenges encountered.
- Foster effective communication within the team and with supervisors, ensuring clear transmission of instructions and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments or teams to ensure seamless coordination and completion of field tasks.
Policies, System, Processes and Procedures
- Manage the development and implementation of the Engineering policies, systems, processes, and procedures, identifying potential areas for improvement, to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.
Change Management
- Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering best practices.
- Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and international principles of governance and the organization’s policies and standards.
- JOB CONTEXT
- Supervisor – Agric Farms will be working in the assigned areas and might have to travel as and when needed.

- QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related fields is preferred.
- MBA or Masters in a related field (Preferred)
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in field operations, agriculture, landscaping, or related work, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
