Farm Intern – Integrated Organic Farm Operations Location: Prabanch Gardens, Cheyyur Taluk, Tamil NaduDuration: 3 Months (Full-Time, Residential)Stipend: ₹10,000 per month + Free Food & Accommodation Prabanch Gardens is an integrated organic farm practising sustainable agriculture, natural input preparation, livestock integration, and eco-friendly rural enterprise development. The farm functions as a learning ecosystem, combining production, processing, documentation, and business development in a real-time rural setting. Internship Objective This internship is designed to give complete exposure to A–Z farm operations, including: Organic cultivation practices Manual preparation of natural inputs Integrated farming systems Farm machinery handling & basic repair Documentation & business profiling Farm-based enterprise development Interns will work closely with the farm team and management to understand how an integrated farm functions operationally and economically. Key Learning & Responsibilities 1️ Farm Operations Soil preparation, sowing, transplanting & harvesting Organic pest & disease management Preparation of compost, vermicompost, jeevamrutham, botanical extracts Livestock integration practices 2️ Machinery & Technical Exposure Operation of small farm machinery Basic maintenance & troubleshooting Irrigation systems handling 3️ Documentation & Business Development Preparing farm documentation reports Assisting in developing the farm’s business profile Market linkage understanding Supporting branding & communication activities Recording production data & cost structures 4️ Team Coordination Working with field workers Observing labour management systems Understanding day-to-day farm decision making Who Can Apply?
