Bionema Group Limited is looking for a senior technical leader to take full ownership of our Formulation Department in Swansea, UK.
As a winner of The King’s Awards for Enterprise for Innovation, we are at the forefront of replacing synthetic chemicals with high-performance biological solutions.
This isn’t just a support role—it’s a hands-on leadership position where you will shape the next generation of biopesticides, biostimulants, and microencapsulation technologies.
The Role:
👉 Lead Bionema’s Formulation Department and laboratory operations.
👉 Develop and optimise Microencapsulation, SC, WP, WDG, OD, and GR formulations.
👉 Drive strategy for microbial stability, shelf-life, and field persistence.
👉 Bridge the gap between R&D, regulatory dossiers, and commercial scale-up.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ PhD in Formulation Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline in microbial agriculture.
✅ 5–10 years of industrial experience in biopesticides or agrochemicals.
✅ Proven expertise in stabilising microbial actives (fungi, bacteria, spores). ✅ A leader who thrives on technical autonomy and IP generation.
Location: Swansea, UK (Full-time, On-site)
