About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Farm Manager to join our growing team at PT Singapura Fresh Green Makmur (The Biggest Agriculture Industry). In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art farm located in West Java, Indonesia. Your strategic leadership and commitment to sustainable agriculture practices will be instrumental in driving the continued success of our business.
What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing all aspects of farm operations, including crop planning, planting, harvesting, and maintenance
- Implementing and monitoring best practices in sustainable farming techniques
- Ensuring the health and well-being of livestock and crops
- Managing and training a team of farm workers to optimise productivity and efficiency
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborating with the broader business team to support the company’s growth and expansion plans
What we’re looking for
- Experienced in large scale commercial growing
- 30-45 years old
- Experianced in horticulture
- Proficient in modern agricultural technologies, with knowledge of advanced cultivation methods such as organic farming and integrated irrigation-fertilization systems (fertigation).
- Strong knowledge of pest and disease management, with the ability to independently resolve issues encountered during the cultivation process.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a farm operation, including crop and livestock management
- In-depth knowledge of sustainable farming practices, including organic farming techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in relevant farm management software and technologies
- A passion for sustainable agriculture and a commitment to environmental stewardship
