Sales Manager – Pesticides Trading (Agricultural & Public Health), Dubai, United Arab Emirates

About the Role:
- We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the commercial activities of our pesticides division. This role focuses on trading agricultural and public health pesticides, managing suppliers, driving sales growth, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and building strong relationships with distributors, government authorities, and key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute trading strategies to expand the pesticide portfolio and enter new market segments.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with local and international suppliers.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with global pesticide manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, government entities, and key clients.
- Coordinate with debt collectors to ensure timely payment collection.
- Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess.
- Provide product knowledge and trade compliance training to the sales team.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new market segments introduced
- Number of new contracts/brands closed
- Sales vs. targets (% achievement)
- Overdue payments collected (%)
- Sales team performance against targets
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in pesticide trading, sales, and supplier management.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural and public health pesticides.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and product registration requirements.
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
- Strong relationship management with suppliers, clients, and government authorities.
- Experience in procurement, trading, and commercial operations.
